Slasher's Sorrow

Have I got something killer, for you today. X3 I'm going back to some of my early roots, with a twist. If you've been with me for a while, you'll know I grew up in my dad's knife/sword smithy. I started making miniature blades, and implements of chaos, when I first opened my jewelry business. They're made nearly identical to their full sized counterparts, sans a real edge. I had this idea bite me hard, and I ran with it. I've always been a follower of the occult, the outré, and odd. So I created this slasher film style rendition of the minor arcana card, the three of swords. It means heartbreak, sorrow, and emotional pain, which have been a constant companion to me, especially in the last year. The whole piece is a dramitic visualization of this, from the glittering black heart of onyx, and the sharp, fang-like bezel, to the tight rope surrounding it. The wicked looking sharpness of the blades, is the one lie. This is actually a very comfortable piece to wear, I've even slept with it on. The blade style is of course familiar to any horror movie afficionado, the classic French chef's knife. Used by just about everyone from Michael Myers, to Chucky, to Ghostface. You can't beat a classic. I chose brass for the handles, rather than the wood I normally use, to add sleekness to the design. I have two more of these hearts, if you have to have it, which I know you do. 😜
