Radioactive rarities: Egytian elegance

Today, we travel back to the land of the pharaohs, and one of my favorite obsessions. My dear friend Whitney @storyshaped_studios managed to get her claws on some amazing antiques, pre 1920's white uranium glass scarabs, from a damaged lavolier, by the designer Neiger. I made two different designs, in two different colorways, because I couldn't decide which ones I like best. Mint green scarabs and ankhs, with lovely chrysoprase glass melon beads, on gold filled wire. And the Neiger white scarabs, with chrysoprase cartouche beads, also on gold filled wire. There's something wonderful about being able to wear a piece of history, in this case, Egytian revival. As always, they securely swing on gold filled leverback hooks, for ease and comfort, and all day wear. All non metal components are antique uranium glass, and glow like a beacon under blacklight, and UV. The white scarabs are in extremely short supply, due to their age, and rarity.
