Radioactive Rarities:Egyptian elegance

This week, we're back to one of my favorite obsessions, Egypt!! I got my hands on some glorious antique, green Chrysoprase Egyptian revival uranium glass, in a stunning gold cartouche design. The gold is motif is further enhanced with yellow gold vermeil accents, and smaller faceted uranium glass beads, in a sturdy yellow gold filled wire wrap design. A classic Ankh dangles serenely below, in vintage French stamped brass. The whole earring is supported on my trademark leverback hooks, in shining yellow gold fill. As always, they do quite obviously glow bright acid green under blacklight and UV, opaque glass seems to really fluoresce brighter than vitreous glass. These little antique morsels are a breeze to wear. Long, and dramatic they may be, yet surprisingly lightweight, and sublimely comfortable. I actually fell asleep wearing these several times.
