Midnight Flight

Fish gotta swim, bats gotta fly. This gorgeous morsel celebrates one of my favorite things, BATS! They're so diverse, beautiful and absolutelely essential to the eco-system. From eating their own weight in troublesome insects, to pollinating the food we eat, there you will find bats. I know most people just see them as flying rabies carriers, or something that will bite you and nest in your hair. But those people couldn't be more wrong. This fluttery fleddermaus is comprised of a gleaming, hand mirror-polished full moon of solid brass, and the flighty night babies are made of hand sawed Germen silver, in a beautiful contrasting satin finish.
