Autumnal Amethyst

I love color, and Fall is my favorite season, hands down. So, I made a design that incorporates both. These pendants are bezel set with stunning oval amethyst cabochons, a favorite gemstone of mine. The wreaths are made from fine silver from Tel Aviv, overlaid on a sturdy 20ga sterling silver base, painstakingly detail hand sawed to make a fine outline of each and every leaf. I am such an artistic masochist XD
The back of the gem, as always, is skeletonized to let the light show through, and really highlight the color of the crystal. These particular necklaces are spoken for, but more like them can be made, in either configuration. I thought it a charming Fall design, and an appropriate way to mark my favorite season. ^_^
